The massive rate increases are either collusion by health insurance companies to keep the issue on the front burner and give cover for the Socialists argument, or a result of the uncertainty this continued discussion brings.

Complete focus of media and culture is on Health Care Reform? If by reform you mean a trillion dollar bureaucracy that will fail and waste the entire country?

We marched a million strong on the mall in Washington D.C. We angrily confronted you for ignoring our letters at the town halls. We voted you out in Virginia, New Jersey, and MASSACHUSETTS.

Health Care Reform is way down on the list of the US population thinking it most important! WHY ARE WE DISCUSSING THIS!!!!! According to Rasmussen, Sixty-one percent (61%) of U.S. voters say Congress should drop health care reform and focus on more immediate ways to improve the economy and create jobs. (see also below)

They still REFUSE TO LISTEN! And all Rush can do is lambaste the Republicans for attending. The real answer is to show up today and talk about JOBS! ! ! ! ! !
and CUTTING SPENDING TO REDUCE THE $14 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT WE HAVE BEFORE even considering this insanity called "reform".

Here are the ironies that were not mentioned!


1. The "R" word now joins the "L" word in the lexicon of BAD THINGS, both associated with liberals, who ARE the Democrats. NO ONE IN THE LIBERAL MSM was ever able to make the counter to the "L" word (Liberal) into "R", REPUBLICANS!

2. The next three items in the newsletter can be combined into one large irony. The end of Obama care was caused by the LOSS of ED KENNEDY'S seat...the father of the Health Care plan resurrected.

3. Not only that, but the win by Brown signaled the complete collapse from Democrats who "went along" with the WH, effectively eliminating the ability to dismiss all the bad economic news. With Obama Care dead, it can only be about the economy.

4. It is sweet irony that Obama is contradicting himself and showing his REAL hand all because of this COMPLETE FAILURE. HE LIES!!! we don't need to believe his words about NOT being an ideologue. HIS ACTIONS betray him. AND, this is most kiss to the "MISS", being and idiot and being a SOCIALIST are the SAME THING! No need for any contradiction here. He is a socialist idiot savant, all redundant, in a bad way. The last quote above is a just a re-iteration of the self contradiction.

5. BIGGEST IRONY: All 2008 when OBAMA talked a Moderate talk, the CONSERVATIVE NATION SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF THEIR VOICE HE WAS A RADICAL LEFTIST. His actions have more than vindicated their predictions. The regret for not having listened to them is part of the sinking of the MSM ship.

Let the deck chair re-arrangements continue. WE NEED OBAMA to fail miserably as a complete lame duck for the next three long, long years!!! This is the best way to kill the socialist bent for another generation, letting them see his arrogance, hypocrisy, elitism, lies spiral downward so hard and fast that Historians will need to rewrite History, making Carter LOOK like Reagan next to Obama!!!!

That belongs to Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), who stood up (or down ?) to President Barack Hussein (sounds Muslim to me!) Obama. This has HUGE implications, when the Democrats start eating their own, much less their Messiah LEADER! RIGHT ON C SPAN! This was better than the Health Care debates! This was HONEST!!! Even if he had broadcast the Obama Care debate, it would have been more of the LIES that we have grown tired of! The Democrats followed him through the gates of socialism Hell, and are now facing the guillotine FOR HIM!

Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas wondered whether Democrats would push back against ideologues in the party and work with Republicans. SPOKEN TO THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF IDEOLOGUES!! TO HIS FACE ! ! ! !

The missed tax increase

Not only do the "rich" not speak up more, they are clearly now in the minority, as defined by the graduated (NOT PROGRESSIVE) personal income tax structure, BY DESIGN. The math is simple. There are fewer of those people and they can be marginalized by injecting class envy in the majority who are largely UN educated.

So even if they did speak out, it WOULD NOT MATTER. There aren't enough of us to change anything no matter how many vote no matter what way we vote. That sounds fair: have those who can't affect the election pay all the bills!!

Is "zero" the fair share for any citizen? Is a larger percentage for those earning more (notice I did not say WEALTHY) fair?

I have been the victim of a huge tax increase that is responsible for keeping social security a float. The top level of earning subject to the social security tax has steadily increased, especially in the last 15 years. This has gotten very little publicity.

For example , in 1994 I first hit this tax "ceiling", then at $45,000. The last few months of the year I got a 7% wage increase due to NO SOCIAL SECURITY DEDUCTION. I paid off 2 credit cards.

No one ever talks about this. And even though my wages steadily increased until I was UNEMPLOYED IN OCTOBER 2009, I never saw this "ceiling" again, as the limit kept increasing faster than my wages. It is now well over $100,000/yr.

Of course, my contributions are not used to calculate my relative withdrawals except in a very limited way. As it stands now, I have paid into Social Security since 1972, over $100,000, and my employers paid an equal amount. If I had received a rate of return of only 6% untaxed (like a Roth) on that $200,000 over the last 38 years, I would be a millionaire.

Of course my money paid for those before me, and there will be no one to pay for me, so you guessed it!

Miss America, American Idol, and the Presidency

Missed a very obious one, Rush!

The problem with the beauty contest that has become the Presidency is that, although it counts in American Idol and the MIss America Pagent, most citizens fail to understand we should not care about the eloquence, the physical appearance, or the "charisma". This RULING CLASS (not elected officials) is in power because the elecorate is mostly governemnt workers, a large percentage of which pay little or no income taxes, and all that matters is what matters in any beauty pagent.

Actions, not words, betrays them. Obama tried today in his budget announcement, to portray himsself as SAVIOR for us from the abuses of big governement spending. I almost choked on my own vomit!
